Riverdale High School will host our second annual week-long celebration of reading February 23-27, 2015. During Literacy Week, students will enjoy dress-up days, author book talks, and creative, multimodal projects in various classes. The Riverdale Literacy Festival will take place on Friday, February 27th when students will participate in a book signing with fourteen young adult authors. Other festivities include games, music, and food. Our goal is to help reinvigorate our students’ enthusiasm for reading by providing them with high-interest books, which are generously donated each year by parents, businesses, authors, and community groups.
