Have you heard about Camp Kiss by J.K. Rock?

Just in case I haven’t said this in the past few days, Spencer Hill is awesome. Their editors and staff are amazing, their authors are all sweethearts, and I adore working with them all. What I like most of all, though, is being able to sneak a look at the new covers before they are released to the world at large. Covers like the new book from J.K. Rock, CAMP KISS.

CAMP KISS is the free prequel novella to CAMP BOYFRIEND that will be available to download on March 26, 2013. That’s barely a month away! What’s it about, you ask? Well, here:

CAMP KISS:

The Camp Kiss That Started It All… Lauren Carlson, a fourteen-year-old expert on the cosmos, superheroes, and science fiction trivia has a crush on her longtime camp friend, Seth. Last summer she’d dreamed about upgrading their relationship to BF/GF status and this year she has a plan… if only her well-meaning cabin mates wouldn’t interfere before she’s ready. She hasn’t even adjusted to her new braces yet, let alone imagined kissing Seth with them. When a dare pushes her out of her comfort zone, will she and Seth rocket out of the friendzone at last? There’s only one way to find out….

And, hey! Did I mention that this novella will be free? Because it will be! And that just makes it harder to wait.

But that’s not all! Have you heard about CAMP BOYFRIEND yet? It releases from Spencer Hill Contemporary on July 2, 2013.

The summer of her dreams is about to get a reality check.

They said it couldn’t be done, but geeky sophomore Lauren Carlson transformed herself into a popular girl after moving to a new school halfway across the country. Amazing what losing her braces and going out for cheerleading will do. Only trouble is, the popular crowd is wearing on Lauren’s nerves and she can’t wait to return to summer camp where she’s valued for her brain instead of her handsprings. She misses her old friends and most of all, her long time camp-only boyfriend, Seth. This year she intends to upgrade their relationship to year-round status once she’s broken up with her new, jock boyfriend, Matt. He doesn’t even begin to know the real her, a girl fascinated by the night sky who dreams of discovering new planets and galaxies.

But Matt isn’t giving her up without a fight. As he makes his case to stay together, Lauren begins to realize his feelings run deeper than she ever would have guessed. What if the guy she thought she was meant to be with forever isn’t really The One? Returning to Camp Juniper Point was supposed to ground her uprooted life, but she’s more adrift than ever. Everything feels different and soon Lauren’s friends are turning on her and both guys question what she really wants. As summer tensions escalate, Lauren wonders if she’s changed more than she thought. Will her first big discovery be herself?

Cover Reveal: Reclaimed by Sarah Guillory

One of the amazing things about joining Spencer Hill has been meeting the other Spencer Hill authors. Sarah Guillory is helping to launch the Spencer Hill Contemporary line and, in addition to that, she’s just an awesome human being. And also one of my roommates for BEA this summer! So flipping excited about that I cannot even tell you about it in words that make sense! I just start Muppet flailing every time I think about it.

I totally meant to do this earlier, but doctors appointments and magic contacts and work and other things happened and the day got away from me! Despite my tardiness, Sarah’s book Reclaimed is releasing this year (OMG YAY, SARAH!) and finally, finally we get to see the stunning cover!

Want to know more? OF COURSE YOU DO! So here it is:

Jenna Oliver doesn’t have time to get involved with one boy, let alone two.

All Jenna wants is to escape her evaporating small town and her alcoholic mother. She’s determined she’ll go to college and find a life that is wholly hers—one that isn’t tainted by her family’s past. But when the McAlister twins move to town and Jenna gets involved with both of them, she learns the life she planned may not be the one she gets.

Ian McAlister doesn’t want to start over; he wants to remember.

Ian can’t recall a single thing from the last three months—and he seems to be losing more memories every day. His family knows the truth, but no one will tell him what really happened before he lost his memory. When he meets Jenna, Ian believes that he can be normal again because she makes not remembering something he can handle.

The secret Ian can’t remember is the one Luke McAlister can’t forget.

Luke has always lived in the shadow of his twin brother until Jenna stumbles into his life. She sees past who he’s supposed to be, and her kiss brings back the spark that life stole. Even though Luke feels like his brother deserves her more, Luke can’t resist Jenna—which is the trigger that makes Ian’s memory return.

Jenna, Ian & Luke are about to learn there are only so many secrets you can keep before the truth comes to reclaim you.
